Autofocus allows a camera control that focuses the lens on the subject. Autofocus is useful for tracking moving subjects and for pulling-the-camera-out-of-the-bag speed. For the rest, it's completely useless.

The 9650 provides 480 x 360 pixels, 2.44 inches Display Size and the 9300 provides 320 x 240 pixels, 2.46 inches Display Size.
