This article compares the two mobile phones Nokia C5 and Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type. The Nokia C5 is a GSM Technology phone announced in 2010, March. The Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type is a GSM Technology phone announced in 2010, September. The Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type is a relatively newer model than the Nokia C5. But both these phones were announced around the same period within a gap of about 6 months.

The main differences between these two items are that, the Nokia C5 provides Secondary Camera and GPS which are not present in Type. Similarly, the Type has Touchscreen which is not present in Nokia C5. Both of them contain Audio Player, Video Player, Camera, Bluetooth, Speakerphone, FM Radio, GPRS and 3G. The Nokia C5 is a lighter and smaller device than Type.

Bluetooth is an open specification for seamless wireless short-range communications of data and voice between both mobile and stationary devices. Bluetooth is useful in term of cable less technology by using with application such as wireless synchronization, file sharing, and also use as gateway for internet connectivity. The Type contains SMS, MMS, Email, IM Messaging while the Nokia C5 offers SMS, AMS, MMS, Email, Push Email, IM, RSS Messaging. MMS enables content distributors to push audio-visual content to cellular phones. The most common types of content are video messaging and ringtones. Type lacks Secondary Camera, whereas, Nokia C5 provides these features. The second camera helps one to click self portrait and also make video calls.
